HERNIA SURGERY TEAM — February 2020

From February 10-15, 2020, our hernia team traveled to Honduras to work at La Providencia Clinic. This was the team's second mission trip to Honduras, where they were able to provide needed surgical care for 15 patients.

I am grateful to have joined the team at Sharing Resources Worldwide for my first medical mission trip. We traveled to Siguatepeque, Honduras, as a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to provide perioperative care to children in need. Overall, this experience gave me a glimpse into global health disparities and deepened my appreciation for the work I do and the resources available to me.
